Job: Associate Manager, Operating Costs Accountant at SC Johnson (SCJ)

The role is part of SC Johnson’s global manufacturing financial support organization.
This position is responsible for P&L budgeting, plant expense forecasting and related uptake and capacity analysis.
Perform in-depth diagnostics and monitoring to help the Cairo site determine where to apply resources, as well as identify opportunities to eliminate all forms of waste.
The role will have strong interfaces with the Regional EMEA Manufacturing Leadership Team based across multiple sites in EMEA, the Regional Cost Team based in Italy, as well as with the European Headquarters based in Switzerland.
At the same time, the position will ensure continuity of financial reporting in close collaboration with SC Johnson’s EMEA Shared Services Center based in the UK.

Terms

University degree in economics, finance or business management with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required Proficiency in the use of a computer system
7 to 10 years of experience in FMCG
A first experience in business support is essential.
Prior experience in a manufacturing facility focused on mass production is a plus, although not required.
Excellent understanding of accounting, ideally incl. prior exposure to US GAAP.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to get involved in financial details, while being able to take a broader view of business issues.
Ability to think strategically and take the right actions for the long term benefit of the business.
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Excellent knowledge of MS Excel + Powerpoint required; MS Access, SAP R/3, SAP BPC are an added advantage.
