FCT, Abuja – Fatima Buhari, daughter of President Muhammadu Buhari, was reportedly appointed to the board of directors of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Examiners of Nigeria (CIFCFEN).
The cable reported that the investiture took place recently at ANAN House in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
Legit.ng collects that the investiture also witnessed the second direct enthronement of 17 members to the institute.

Speaking at the ceremony, Iliyasu Gashinbaki, President of CIFCFEN, said Ms. Buhari is joining the board with a wealth of experience gained in the public sector and international organizations.

In her address, Ms. Buhari thanked the institute for having deemed her worthy of this appointment and pledged to justify the trust placed in her, The nation too reported.
A statement released by the institute indicates that Ms. Buhari holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria; postgraduate degree in accounting and finance from Stratford College of Business and Management UK; MBA from Anglia Ruskin University, UK; and a Masters in Human Resources Management from the University of Northampton, UK.
She is also a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).

CIFCFEN was established by ANAN to provide core professionals in the specialist areas of forensic accounting and fraud examination in Nigeria.

Hanan soared above her peers as she won the distinction in her Fine Art Photography (Masters) program in the United States.
Speaking to her verified Instagram page on Tuesday, June 29, Ms Buhari praised Hanan for making the president’s family proud. The First Lady also wished her daughter and “all 2021 graduates more blessings and a better future”.
