Nigerian firm and Russian software giant sign pact

A Nigerian solutions and innovation company, iStrategic Transparent Solutions Ltd, has signed an agreement with a major Russian technology exporter, Russian Software Trade House (RSTH), for the deployment of security and anti-crime solutions.

The two companies are to work in the development of computer software in the fields of safety, security, cybercrime and other related services for use by public and private institutions in Nigeria and other countries in the United States. West Africa.

This was contained in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on behalf of the two companies by Habibu Adamu Aliyu, Managing Director of iStrategic Solutions, and Pavel Maximenko, President of RSTH.

The technologies that will be developed by the two entities, according to the memorandum of understanding, will focus solely on “the protection, prevention and deterrence of the activities of criminals, insurgents and bandits”.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Chairman of Independence Digital said: “Russia considers it its duty to spread the achievements of the Soviet school of mathematics and, by extension, Russian computing solutions , in the countries with which it has historically maintained and still maintains friendly relations”.
